UCP offers several programs to help the family work more smoothly as a unit. UCP's After School Care programs give parents the security of knowing that their children are in a safe and appropriate environment, while waiting for Mom or Dad to pick them up. In addition, UCP's In-Home Respite Care workers give family members needed time for themselves to run errands, go to doctor's appointments, and other things that don't seem to get done in the normal 24-hour day when caring for someone with a disability. |
