Our Philosophy
At United Cerebral Palsy of South Florida, we believe the individuals we serve are defined by their unique human qualities, and not by their disabilities.
UCP works to provide programs and services which meet the special needs of each child and adult, nurturing their talents and abilities in order to help them reach their greatest potential.
UCP believes that regardless of the physical and mental challenges they may face, individuals with disabilities are entitled to live in and belong to a community where they are accepted and included with dignity and respect.
UCP must progressively and sensitively balance safety and common sense with the dignity of risk that is necessary for people to grow. We must be creative and fair enough to encourage the people we serve to make informed choices whenever possible.
UCP must explore the far reaches of the human potential to continuously raise the level of expectation for our organization and the people we serve. Programs and Services
