OUR HISTORY

In 1947, little was known about cerebral palsy and there was no where parents could turn for help for their children with neurological impairments.  In Miami, several families joined together to establish a referral service and clinic, where their children could be evaluated and treated by physicians and therapists.

More than 50 years later, UCP of South Florida is one of the largest health care organizations in South Florida, serving more than 1,800 children and adults each day at over 60 locations from Monroe to Martin Counties.
